DENSOLEN® two tape system E15-PE3
Corrosion protection coating as per DIN 30672 and DIN EN 12068 for buried and immersed pipelines, containers and plant with operating temperatures up to 30°C. For high corrosive and medium to high mechanical stress.
DENSOLEN®-Tape E15
Butyl rubber tape without carrier as per DIN EN 12068. DENSOLEN®-Tape E15 will amalgamate in the overlap area or between the individual layers of wrapping. The result is a sleeve-like coating that is practically impermeable to water vapor and oxygen. The thick adhesive butyl layer conforms particularly well to the structure of the underlying surface (e.g. welding beads and factory coating edges).
DENSOLEN®-Tape PE3
Two-ply synthetic tape with a polyethylene carrier film and butyl rubber coating on one side.
DENSOLEN®-Tape PE3 will amalgamate with the inner wrapping of DENSOLEN®-Tape E15 and together with the latter will form a continuous bond, creating a stable coating with high mechanical resistance.
