TOK^®-Band SK

The further development of the bitumen joint tape  TOK^®-Band spezial, which has proved its value for many years. Self-adhesive and can therefore be applied without flame. Tested in accordance with ZTV Fug-StB 01 (Zusätzliche Technische Vertragsbedingungen und Richtlinien für Fugen in Verkehrsflächen - German Additional Technical Contractual Conditions and Directives for Joints in Traffic Surfaces) Paragraph 5.

The revolutionary product improvement: self-adhesive, no need for flaming

DENSO has made decided improvements in developing the classic TOK^®-Band spezial to create TOK^®-Band SK. "SK" stands for the German term "selbstklebend" (self-adhesive). It offers problem-free cold bonding, without any flaming required. In conjunction with TOK-Primer SK, it ensures a deep and durable connection to the cut or milled edge.
To avoid confusion, TOK^®-Band SK is two-colored: the self-adhesive side is white and the other black, as before.

The first class quality of TOK^®-Band SK material and its problem-free application ensure high-quality work. The gain in quality in laying the product is TOK^®-Band SK's great advantage for the road builder and the customer. New TOK^®-Band SK combines inseparably and permanently with cut and milled edges a short time after application.

Best material quality

TOK^®-Band SK is an especially high-quality product, polymer-improved and with modified bitumen combinations that make the tape very supple even in cool weather conditions. The specially developed adhesive coating combines permanently with the cut and milled edge of the road surface. There is no longer any need to fuse the tape.
