DENSOLASTIC^®-EM / EM-G

The two-component, permanently elastic synthetic mortar for joints in traffic areas exposed to high static and dynamic loads. The material is cold applied and available in a spatula or poured version.   

Description 

DENSOLASTIC^® EM consists of a two-component polyurethane based material plus a filler. The material can be delivered in pourable or spatula versions. The elastomer mortar is extremely stable and permanently elastic. The material's suitability has been proved in trials by the Institut für Kanaltechnik (Institute for Sewage Technology) and the Buildings Material Testing Department at the Fachhochschule in Cologne. In trials, the material was exposed for 48 hours to simulated loads of 100 KN without any damage occurring. 

Uses 

DENSOLASTIC^® EM is used for joints in structural components that are exposed to high dynamic and static loads. One example of such use is as a joint mortar in shafts on roads with heavy traffic. Due to its elasticity, the elastomer mortar has a noise and vibration reducing effect.   

Delivery and packaging 

DENSOLASTIC^® EM is supplied as components A and B in separate containers. These represent the correct mixing ratio of the A and B components. The delivery units are quantities of 2.44 kg (A+B) and 7.30 kg (A+B). The pourable version EMG is supplied in 2.57 kg containers. DENSO Primer E is supplied in 1 liter containers.     

Storage 

Store tightly sealed in the original container, avoid temperatures above 40 °C and frost. Store the containers in a well-ventilated place and prevent the material from penetrating the soil. Under these conditions, DENSOLASTIC^® EM will store for at least 12 months.
