Operational safety
We are conscious of our responsibility towards our customers and to society and have committed ourselves to strengthening competence in the field of safety and operations at all levels - from trainees to management. In order to be able reliably to manufacture and supply high quality products, we have created the best possible working environment. Clear structures and optimum operational safety allow us to ensure the necessary resources are available. This is founded on statutory provisions and state-of-the-art technology. Competent and qualified staff ensure professional application of the statutory regulations and necessary measures in the individual fields. Contacts to official bodies complete our efforts and secure the operation of our company. We are certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 and regularly carry out internal and external audits.
Health and safety at work:
The Betriebssicherheitsverordnung (German Health and Safety at Work Act) and the Gefahrstoffverordnung (Dangerous Goods Ordinance) are the statutory foundation for the safety of our staff. There are risk assessments for all materials, workplaces and technical equipment. Necessary safety systems are operated in accordance with this basic foundation and provision is made for systematic repeated tests. All staff are regularly trained in safety matters. Monthly site inspections ensure that safety at work measures are put into practice in the best possible way.
Fire protection:
Fire protection is also put into practice in the best possible way, along the same lines as our safety at work measures. Working closely with external specialist operations, we arrange for the installation and also for the regular checking of our fire protection equipment.
Product safety and the Gefahrstoffverordnung (Dangerous Goods Ordinance):
Our products are tested for their risk potential, then graded and identified in accordance with the Gefahrstoffverordnung (Dangerous Goods Ordinance). The safety data sheets are created using modern software and are available in all European languages. Transportation from us to our customers is done safely and the packaging, labeling and documentation take the Gefahrstoffverordnung (Dangerous Goods Ordinance) into account. Trained staff ensure that statutory provisions and internal company regulations are complied with.
